VIRGINIA NIGHT OUT ON MOAA 2008
TO CELEBRATE GIVE ME TEN SUCCESS!
LTC PAUL MEHLER ONCE AGAIN LED US TO SUCCESS!

EACH VIRGINIA CHAPTER RECRUITED AT LEAST TEN.

VIRGINIA RECRUITED MORE THAN ANY OTHER STATE.

VIRGINIA WAS THE ONLY STATE TO WIN THE DINNER WITH MOAA FOR GIVE ME TEN RECRUITING - THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!

WE HAD ALREADY RECRUITED 1,000 MEMBERS AND WE KEPT RECRUITING EVEN AFTER THE DINNER.

MOAA PRESIDENT, Vice Admiral Norb Ryan, USN, Ret, hosted the evening and spoke highly of Virginia chapters.  He gave a new MOAA coin to each chapter recruiter.

COL LEE LANGE, Director of MOAA Council and Chapter Affairs also participated in the festivities.

VCOC chose the Boars Head Inn of Charlottesville Virginia.  The date was 24 OCT 2008 (after a quarterly VCOC meeting nearby).  The excellent dinner was hosted by MOAA President, Vice Admiral Norb Ryan, who congratulated Virginia Chapters for leading the way, not only with Give Me Ten, but in other areas as well.
