MOAA HOSTED GIVE ME TEN DINNER FOR VCOC AGAIN

For the 4th year in a row, VCOC won the MOAA Give Me Ten Dinner. It was held in the spacious Empire Room of the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia on January 24, 2010. VCOC won this dinner by having 100% Chapter participation in the 2009 MOAA Give Me Ten Program. As a result, a total 85 members and their spouses attended the dinner. The dinner consisted of a fabulous entrée of grilled beef tenderloin and seared salmon along with soup, salad, and dessert. Wine was served during the dinner. A reception was held initially with bar service and hors d’ouevres.

COL Lee Lange, Director of Council and Chapter Affairs, attended along with his Deputy, COL Barry Wright and his wife.

COL Lange gave a talk about the 2010 Give Me Ten Program and the changes to be included. He also congratulated VCOC for winning $13,760 - the total amount of money won by all the chapters and VCOC during the 2009 Give Me Ten Program. A symbolic check for this amount was presented to VCOC by COL Lange.
