MEETING HIGHLIGHTS:
_ APPOINTED NEW VCOC CHAPLAIN & AUXILIARY LIAISON
_ VOTED APPROVAL NATIONAL LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES 2011
_ FINE-TUNED OBJECTIVES FOR 2011 (GOALS DID NOT CHANGE) and heard reports about 2010 goals & objectives.
_ APPROVED PROPOSED CHANGE TO BY-LAWS CONCERNING QUARUM. Additional proposed changes to be considered at next VCOC meeting.
_ FINALIZE SCHEDULE FOR 2011 (Congressional Luncheon date still tentative). Next VCOC meeting will be in Charlottesville, Wed 6 April.
_ NO LEGISLATIVE BREAK-OUT SESSION (Legislative Committee met early December)
_APPROVED VCOC LEGISLATIVE AWARD FOR A VIRGINIA CONGRESSMAN
_ MOAA's COL LEE LANGE BRIEFED AND FIELDED QUESTIONS ABOUT NEW VOICES FOR AMERICAN TROOPS INITIATIVE AT END OF MEETING (for those who wanted to stay - most did).
