COL Henry R. (Hank) Shelton, USA, Ret of the Central Virginia Chapter of MOAA addresses the VCOC at their March 2008 quarterly meeting, with plans for his chapter hosting the July 11th meeting in Charlottesville.  COL Shelton is a past president of VCOC.

The Glenmore Club is located approximately one mile beyond the security gate for the Glenmore gated community.  You must stop at the gate, at which time you will be issued a pass and given instructions to the club.
 
The ONLY entrance to the Glenmore community is turning South off of Highway US250 EAST OF Charlottesville.

The per person cost of $20 includes:

     Morning Coffee,Decaf and Tea

     Lunch Deli Buffet with Coffee or Ice Tea

     Tax and Service Charge

 
Each attendee at the 11 July meeting should send their reservation and $20 payment to arrive before 7 July.  (recommend mailing by end of June).

(On 7July, Col Shelton CVC MOAA will notify The Glenmore Country Club of the total number of attendees)

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO GLENMORE GATE:

FROM RICHMOND take I-64 West, Exit 129.  Take US 250 West for several miles and turn left at the Glenmore sign (If you pass Shadwell, turn around and look for the Glenmore sign.)

FROM NORTHERN VIRGINIA take US29 South, exit at the 250 bypass (marked 250 East) continue past Shadwell one mile and turn right at the Glenmore sign.

FROM WESTERN VIRGINIA take I-64 East, exit 124.  Take US 250 East, one mile past Shadwell turn right at the Glenmore Sign.
