STATE LEGISLATIVE ALERTS

USE VA VET ALERT NOW TO SEND EMAILS NOW SUPPORTING BUDGET AMENDMENTS - ADDRESSING STATE LEGISLATIVE OBJECTIVES FOR VETERANS, MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES.

http://vavet.org/

SENT START OF SESSION LETTER - JANUARY 2011

VAVET provided one letter, with a Senator version and a Delegate version, which addressed the six JLC Legislative Objectives (LOs) for the 2011 Session.  It informs our Legislators that we want them to understand our objectives, to be co-patrons, and to vote for them.
Chapter Members can directly influence the passage of Legislative Objectives (LOs) by personally meeting with their legislators, by writing to them, by calling their General Assembly Offices in Richmond, and, easiest of all, by sending messages using VAVET.

TO USE VAVET - Just go on line to vavet.org then left click on either the House or the Senate.  Next left click on the "Start of Session Letter".  Select your legislator from the drop down menu, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and fill in the personal information.  Next left click on "Send my Message!".  Then send a message to your other legislator.  That’s it.

This was intended to be a personal constituent e-mail to contact ony your own Virginia Delegate and Senator.
