SCHOLARSHIPS

There are three designated Virginia scholarships, maintained by national MOAA using dollars contributed in years past by the Virginia Council of Chapters.  Each year, names of the winners of these Virginia-designated MOAA scholarships are provided by national MOAA to VCOC.  VCOC notifies chapters.

Many chapters also have their own scholarship programs.  Also, some Virginia chapters provide a stipend to ROTC or graduating Junior ROTC students.

Even chapters that do not have their own scholarship programs can promote the MOAA scholarship program to their chapter-members.  MOAA welcomes contributions from individual members and chapters-as-a-whole.  Councils too.
