VIRGINIA WAR MEMORIAL (VWM)
and Paul & Phyllis Galanti Education Center - opened 2010
photo taken in lobby, 16 Sep 2010, by VCOC MOAA PAO
The VCOC and Virginia MOAA chapters have long supported the Virginia War Memorial, along with Virginia's Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Services Organizations (JLC).  That support includes legislative advocacy as well as fund raising.  The VCOC and Virginia chapters have donated to the naming campaign, brick walkway and separate contributions.  The Galanti Education center, named for Richmond Area Chapter (RACMOAA) member, Paul Galanti and his wife, Phyllis, grandly opened  in Sep 2010.
